Farm walk on 19 August

Hardly anyone is more involved with the topic of biodiversity than arable farmer and biodiversity ambassador Rudi Schmid from Lower Austria. Rudi uses his extensive botanical knowledge to test a wide range of maintenance and cultivation measures and observe their effects on biodiversity. Convince yourself of his expertise and accompany him on a tour of his biodiversity areas, including 30-year-old fallow land, with which he creates diverse areas for the preservation of plant and animal diversity in an otherwise intensively farmed arable landscape. Together with Harald Schau from the REWISA network, he will show how seeds can be harvested from existing fallow fields as part of the farm walk. They will also show other ways of obtaining seed for creating biodiversity areas in the ÖPUL programme, so it's best to register quickly as the number of participants is limited. Registration is still possible until 17 August.
