Commitment to biodiversity:

It is important to Andreas Badinger to combine profitability and ecology on his farm. He creates space for biodiversity on his meadows with fringe biotopes. With flower strips, boundary ridges and fallow land, he enriches the intensively utilised area, where there are almost no landscape elements left due to land consolidation. On his eight strips of old grass, which he maintains in stages, he creates a refuge and structure for animals. Andreas Badinger is also active as a biodiversity mediator for the ÖKL (Austrian Board of Trustees for Agricultural Technology and Rural Development). He is also one of the 45 protagonists of the symBIOtisch project.
