Jakob Loidolt

Jakob Loidolt makes an important contribution to preserving the diversity of varieties by cultivating old grain, fruit and potato varieties, including more than 300 potato varieties. When cultivating the land, it is also important to him that the cultivation is as soil-friendly as possible, for example by ensuring that the arable land is planted with grass all year round. No pesticides of any kind are used and Jakob Loidolt also creates valuable havens for biodiversity when cultivating the meadows: mowing is only carried out twice a year, with the first mowing taking place after flowering and using gentle equipment such as blade cutter bars.
