Roswitha Marold
The health of both people and animals is central to all activities on the farm, guided by the motto "Working with nature out of love for animals." This results in a very careful approach to the farm's own resources and plenty of space for nature. The Marold family has also actively implemented measures to increase biodiversity by creating wildflower strips and a buffer zone along waterways, and planting fruit trees. Some meadows are deliberately mowed later, providing habitat for species such as the increasingly rare corncrake. Roswitha Marold also observes many insects and reptiles in her meadows. Through farm excursions and "School on the Farm" programs, Roswitha Marold raises awareness of the importance of extensive land management. The organic farmer works with the "School on the Farm" program and is currently training to become a certified seminar leader. In the summer, she offers farm visits so that participants can see and experience how a farm operates.
