Farm visit at the 5th of August
Take the opportunity to get to know mountain farmer and biodiversity ambassador Solveig personally on her farm in Tyrol and learn first-hand how she manages to give nature its space. In the garden around the farm alone, there is a multitude of herbs and wildflowers to discover and many more industrious pollen and nectar collectors who love to visit the richly laid table.
The four-legged inhabitants of the farm are also diverse: whether Tyrolean stone sheep, mountain goats or Austrian-Hungarian White Baroque donkeys - they all find a home on the Thurnes family's farm, as the preservation of old breeds is a matter close to their hearts as members of Arche Austria:
As part of the ‘Diversity on my farm’ project, you can build a suitable home for your feathered garden inhabitants for the next breeding season in the nesting box workshop under expert guidance, so register quickly - registration is only possible until 3 August.
